My Story
I started working in customer service in the third grade.
No, really. My first job was at my neighbor's snow cone stand.
(Pina Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri mix was my favorite flavor blend, in case you're wondering)
Within a few weeks I'd noticed their inventory system wasn't working. Within a few months I'd rebuilt their entire operation.
I was eight years old. I guess it's just in my blood.
After 30 years in customer service, operations, and project management, I found myself running on empty, holding up corporations that gave me nothing back.
So I made a decision.
I took everything I'd built and rebuilt over three decades and pointed it somewhere that actually mattered: toward the women building businesses of their own.
Because I kept seeing the same thing. Brilliant, capable, hard-working women, successful by every measure, running themselves into the ground keeping everything together by sheer force of will.
Stressed. Joyless. Wondering when it was supposed to start feeling like freedom.
That's where I come in.
Watching a woman go from overwhelmed and hopeless to calm, clear, and growing, that's the most fulfilling work I've ever done. And I've been doing this since the third grade.
I believe every woman deserves a business that grants her freedom, not just more responsibility.
Women are on track to own over 40% of businesses by 2027. I want to be part of making that number soar.

I didn't start Other Laine to build another agency. I built it because I believe every woman in business deserves to actually experience the freedom she's working toward, not just talk about it. Every system I build, every process I design, every decision I make for your business is filtered through one question: does this give her more freedom, or does it take it away?
Everything is custom. Always
Your business isn't a template and neither is my work. I don't show up with a pre-built system and force your operations to fit around it. I learn how your business actually works. The real version, not the polished one, and I build around that. What I create for you will look nothing like what I built for the client before you. That's intentional.
I treat your business like its my own
That means I show up prepared, I pay attention to the details, and I care about the outcome as much as you do. It also means I'll tell you the truth even when it's not what you want to hear, because honest feedback delivered with care is more valuable than comfortable advice that keeps you stuck.
